Who is the Hong Kong insurance investigator tasked with locating Hiroshi Nakamura?
Read the complete plot summary of Stone Age Warriors, including all major events, twists, and the full ending explained in detail. Explore key characters, themes, hidden meanings, and everything you need to understand the story from beginning to end.
After Hiroshi Nakamura, Chang Kuo-Chu, and other treasure hunters in New Guinea are found and attacked by natives, Lucy Wong, Nina Li Chi, a Hong Kong insurance investigator, faces intense pressure at work for approving Hiroshi’s life-insurance policy, with a court demanding a payout of $50,000 within 14 days.
To locate Hiroshi, Lucy pretends to be Hiroshi’s pregnant girlfriend to obtain his whereabouts from his daughter Eko Nakamura, [Elaine Lui-Siu-Ling], an actress in Japan. Eko agrees to help and the trio travels to Indonesia, Hiroshi’s last known whereabouts, where Eko reveals that Hiroshi has been lost in New Guinea.
In New Guinea, they are first battered by hostile natives, and Eko discovers that Lucy’s pregnancy ruse has been uncovered. Abdullah, [Eddy Gombloh], explains that two tribes on the island are forever at odds, complicating the search. Lung Fei, [Louis Fan Siu-Wong], the son of a deceased missionary who cannot speak Japanese or Chinese and must communicate through Abdullah, joins them and offers critical local knowledge. Lung Fei’s presence helps the group push forward as they navigate treacherous terrain and shifting loyalties.
The team locates Hiroshi, who has been kidnapped by drug smugglers. The women are temporarily separated from Lung Fei after another native ambush, and they must survive a succession of perils, including a pack of Komodo dragons and a violent rapid that hurls them toward a deadly waterfall.
Captured by the smugglers, the group endures torture and coercion. Leopard Woman tortures Lucy until Hiroshi agrees to reveal the treasure’s location in exchange for Eko’s release. Eko fights to escape and steals a helicopter, but a member of Leopard Woman’s gang pursues her. Lung Fei intervenes to save her, and they regroup to confront the smugglers again. Hiroshi and Lucy manage a narrow escape to the helicopter after Lucy is shot in the shoulder. Inside the craft, Eko battles Leopard Woman and lands a fatal stab, but Leopard Woman reappears at takeoff and retrieves Eko from the chopper.
In a dramatic rescue, Lung Fei saves Eko and kills Leopard Woman. He then uses a whip to latch onto the hovering helicopter and drags Lucy to safety, hanging from the skids as the chopper powers away.
The final moments unfold with behind-the-scenes footage of the lead actresses performing their own stunts as the credits roll.
