His physics teacher, Shruti Ramachandran as Sheena, is quick to label him a nuisance and dismiss his potential, calling him “nonsense” even as he keeps his cool and refuses to give up.

One morning, Arun befriends an auto driver named Santhosh after he drops him at school. When a bandh disrupts the day and the students are sent home, Sheena asks her colleague Lakshmi to look after her daughter, Jesna, during her absence. Lakshmi leaves Jesna at the beauty parlour reception, and the curious girl slips away to explore. She soon runs into Arun, and the pair form an unexpected friendship.
