Inside the yearbook office, a quiet, overlooked student named Wallflower Blush quietly occupies a corner of the room, a reminder that some voices stay unheard even as others shout for attention. The mood shifts when Trixie reappears, demanding a spot in the yearbook under a category that Sunset immediately notes doesn’t exist—“The Greatest and Powerfullest.” Sunset’s calm rebuke draws a sharp response from Trixie, who warns she’ll have her revenge before storming out.

The following day at the beach, Sunset arrives with her friends only to discover that most of their memories of her have vanished. Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Applejack remember only Sunset’s past misdeeds as a bully, while Twilight recalls the moment she yelled at Sunset during the Friendship Games. Desperate to prove she’s still part of the group, Sunset reaches out to Ponyville’s Twilight Sparkle, who confirms her recollection in Canterlot and encourages a deeper search. With nowhere else to turn, Sunset and Twilight seek counsel from Princess Celestia [Nicole Oliver], her former mentor who she once betrayed, before they travel to the parallel world to confront the mystery head-on. In Celestia’s castle, Sunset apologizes and the two reconcile, and soon Luna joins them as they head toward the library’s restricted section, hoping to uncover the source of the memory disturbance.

Hours of careful study reveal ancient writings about the Memory Stone, a potent artifact capable of erasing memories and even fragments of memory. The text explains how the stone traveled to the parallel world after Clover the Clever defeated a sorceress using it, and it becomes clear that someone is using the stone to rekindle Sunset’s old reputation as a villain. Sunset returns to the parallel world with renewed resolve, determined to clear her name for good, while Trixie offers help—on the condition that Sunset keep her part of the yearbook bargain.

As Sunset and Trixie search the school for clues, Twilight receives a critical warning: the stone’s effects become permanent if it isn’t destroyed by the third day after it’s used. A drawing of the stone’s possible location appears in Twilight’s note, which Sunset recognizes as Wallflower’s screensaver—the key clue that points to the culprit. Wallflower reveals her motive, explaining that she erased memories of Sunset to hide her own invisibility and loneliness. When Sunset tries to seize the stone, Wallflower pysically intervenes, grabbing it and locking Sunset and Trixie in the office to prevent another theft.

Sunset, however, had previously recorded the confrontation with a drone Twilight had built, ensuring that she and Trixie remember what happened. A clever rescue by Trixie allows Sunset to escape, but she must leave Wallflower to confront the consequences alone. The pair regroup and confront Wallflower in the parking lot, where she confronts the truth in front of Sunset’s friends. When Wallflower’s desperate attempt to erase all of Sunset’s high school memories fails, Sunset sacrifices her own memories of the parallel world in order to make her friends believe she has always told the truth. In a powerful moment, Sunset’s friends recognize her sincerity, and they openly reaffirm her as their friend.

With that emotional hurdle cleared, Sunset faces Wallflower, who admits to being corrupted by the Memory Stone’s power, using it to erase embarrassing memories of herself. The six friends’ geodes flare with energy, transforming them into their empowered forms, and together they destroy the Memory Stone, restoring everyone’s memories. Walls of suspicion fall away, and Sunset’s friends apologize for their earlier unfriendliness, though Sunset refuses to blame them—she’s simply grateful to have them back.

The next day, Sunset informs Twilight of the stone’s destruction, and the group celebrates a fresh start. The yearbooks are released, and Trixie discovers that Sunset kept her end of the bargain, while Wallflower learns that her best garden photo now bears the signatures of Sunset and the friends she has come to trust. In the end, memory restored, friendships reaffirmed, and the school’s yearbook becomes a lasting testament to how even the quiet voices can change a story when given a chance.
