Bhadra Kavya Madhavan is a compassionate nurse who shares a warm, bustling home with her widowed mother, her grandmother, and her twin sister Bhama, who is pursuing medical studies. The family dynamic is framed by the presence of their older brother, Jagathy Sreekumar as Achuthankutty, a politician whose public life threads into the private space they all inhabit. Bhadra’s heart feels drawn to Arun, a capable doctor who works alongside her; their connection grows against a backdrop of family approval and cultural expectations.

The sisters’ world becomes more complicated when Krishnakumar’s sister, Sridevi, is introduced; Revathi brings to life a woman who, after the death of her parents, has been left paralyzed and dependent on others. The encounter between Bhadra and Sridevi adds another layer to the family’s entangled fate.

Krishnakumar’s feelings toward Bhadra shift from obligation to desire, and he is drawn to her simplicity and resilience.
