Petris is a fiercely ambitious alternative‑rock vocalist whose talent is matched only by her tempestuous spirit. She shares her chaotic life with her older sister and manager, Yulia, whose pragmatic outlook constantly collides with Petris’s dramatic flair. Their bond is a blend of rivalry and fierce loyalty, a relationship that fuels both creative fire and inevitable friction in the high‑octane world of pop stardom.

When circumstances force the duo to flee the bright lights of the city, they find themselves thrust into a markedly different rhythm: the earthy pulse of a rural village where a traveling dangdut troupe is about to lose its lead singer. The clash between Petris’s polished pop sensibility and the raw, melodic soul of dangdut creates an unexpected crossroads, hinting at a transformation that could redefine her artistic identity.

Embracing the role of a fledgling dangdut performer, Petris adopts a new stage name and steps onto a stage that vibrates with the hopes and hardships of everyday villagers. The atmosphere is a blend of lively musical numbers, modest surroundings, and the palpable weight of community stories that linger in every note. Alongside the troupe is Rizal, the owner‑manager whose presence adds a subtle undercurrent of admiration and intrigue, further complicating the sisters’ navigation of this unfamiliar world.

The film balances humor, heartfelt moments, and the vibrant soundscape of Indonesian music, inviting viewers to watch a star‑struck city singer discover a different kind of spotlight—one that shines not just on fame, but on empathy, resilience, and the unexpected melodies that arise when cultures collide.
