Velu Vijay, a fearless car racer from a large Chennai family, grows up under the shadow of his father Singamuthu Manivannan, who vanished years earlier after traveling to Kadapa to work in a colliery. Velu soon learns that a Malaysia-based crime boss named Koccha Suman Talwar owes his father a massive debt, pulling him into a dangerous underworld far from home.

To settle the debt, Velu and a companion travel to Malaysia, moving as Kuruvi—low-level contraband carriers—where internal rivalries churn within Koccha’s camp. In this tense landscape, Devi [Trisha Krishnan], also known as Radhadevi and Koccha’s younger sister, refuses an arranged marriage to Soori Pawan, the brother of Konda Reddy Ashish Vidhyarthi, a Kadapa-based associate involved with Koccha.
