To push his plans forward, Ranjit enlists the help of corrupt Jail Minister Veni Prasad Bhandari Raza Murad and the formidable Thakur Shakti Singh Shakti Kapoor. When Balbir and Anwaar frustrate his schemes, Ranjit has them jailed and orders the Ashram demolished by a bomb planted by an escaped jail inmate.
