Balbir Vinod Khanna and Anwaar Rajinikanth are close friends known for their honesty and courage, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, including the people who run an Ashram, a rest house for the poor. They are in love with two lovely women, Paro Jaya Prada and Hosnon Bano Varsha Usgaonkar. Their simple, principled lives are threatened when Nisha Manisha Koirala, Balbir’s and Anwaar’s other love interest, becomes entangled in a web of power and land grabbing.
Balbir’s younger brother Vivek Vivek Mushran is a bright student who has fallen for Nisha Manisha Koirala. Nisha is the daughter of Ranjit Ajit Vachani, a wealthy tycoon determined to seize the Ashram’s land and property, demolish it, and commence construction on it. To push his plans forward, Ranjit enlists the help of corrupt Jail Minister Veni Prasad Bhandari Raza Murad and the formidable Thakur Shakti Singh Shakti Kapoor. When Balbir and Anwaar frustrate his schemes, Ranjit has them jailed and orders the Ashram demolished by a bomb planted by an escaped jail inmate.
Balbir and Anwaar manage a daring jail escape and seek justice for the destruction and the innocent lives lost, including Babaji. They confront Ranjit in broad daylight and kill him, an act that earns them life sentences and sets the stage for a tense clash with the system they once trusted. The prison in which they are housed is run by Jailer Rana Pratap Singh Raaj Kumar, a strict disciplinarian who is also honest and incorruptible. Despite their differences, the trio learn to respect each other, and the boundaries between law, loyalty, and justice begin to blur in surprising ways.
Meanwhile, Vivek faces his own peril when Sumitradevi Rita Bhaduri, Nisha’s mother, is killed and Vivek is framed for the murder, earning him a jail sentence of his own. The ongoing jail escapades of Balbir and Anwaar continue to be checked by Rana Pratap Singh, testing their resolve and their faith in justice. As the narrative unfolds, the question remains: will true justice ever prevail, and who is ultimately behind Sumitradevi’s murder?
