Jason returns to the theatre to rescue Claire, only to be drawn into her dangerous lure as she seduces him and then tries to kill him, compelled by a force he cannot see but can feel. He witnesses Claire perform before a ghostly audience from the wings, all while evading Karl’s pursuit. A journal by Marius reveals histories of ritualistic dance and a grim scheme: a version of Swan Lake where Rothbart’s dark magic would end in the deaths of Odette and Siegfried, turning Claire into a sacrificial instrument.

Jason pleads for Claire to leave with him, but she knocks him unconscious as the theatre becomes a battleground of memory and power. Captured by Karl, he is locked in a cellar but manages a breath-taking escape, only to be assaulted by a monstrous black swan — a manifestation of Marius’ sinister command. He fights back, slaying the creature with a shard of broken glass from a mirror, and in that instant, Marius is defeated and Claire’s mastery over her own fate begins to return. Claire gradually awakens in Jason’s arms, and together they flee the theatre, stepping out into a world where the past lingers but hope pushes them forward.
