A gripping story set in the tumultuous city of Chennai, this film explores the fierce rivalry between two powerful gangs led by Vikram as Shekhar and Prakash Raj as Chinna. The narrative delves into a world where enmity and violence are part of everyday life, with clashes erupting frequently as each gang strives for dominance over the other. The tension escalates when Periyavar’s gang attempts to eliminate Chinna, but Chinna’s life is saved by a brave man named Sekar, who leaves a lasting impression on him.

Throughout the story, Trisha Krishnan as Shalini is introduced as Sekar’s blossoming love interest, while other characters like [Tanikella Bharani], [Thalaivasal Vijay], [Lakshmi Gopalaswamy], [Ashish Vidhyarthi], and [Sampath Raj] add depth and complexity to the narrative. Sekar, portrayed as a courageous and loyal individual, reveals that he has admired Chinna since childhood, seeing him as a role model, and eventually joins Chinna’s gang. With Sekar’s support, Chinna begins to gain the upper hand over Periyavar’s faction within the city, strengthening their bond and trust.

As the story unfolds, Chinna and Sekar’s camaraderie deepens, which rouses feelings of jealousy in Shafi, played by [Sampath Raj], one of Chinna’s gang members, who despises Sekar. The romantic subplot thickens when Sekar arranges Chinna’s marriage with Padma to whom both are secretly in love, despite Chinna’s initial reluctance to express his feelings after becoming a don. Meanwhile, Sekar’s friendship with Shalini blossoms into love, leading to a romantic relationship between them.

The city’s fragile peace is shattered with the appointment of a new police commissioner, tasked with reducing violence. His first targets are the gangs led by Chinna and Periyavar, adding a new layer of danger and tension. Sekar encourages Chinna to remain fearless, promising him protection, and the duo’s bond becomes even stronger. Sekar and Shalini decide to marry secretly because of Shalini’s parents’ disapproval, planning to elope and start anew, which they do successfully.

However, the story takes a tragic turn when Chinna, feeling the void left by Sekar’s departure, decides to reach out to him. Chinna calls Sekar to his place, aided by Saamy, an ally played by [Tanikella Bharani], who suggests summoning Sekar back, believing it might bring some relief to Chinna. Reluctant yet hopeful, Chinna arranges for Sekar to visit. When they reunite, Sekar’s trust is tested as Shafi, still harboring resentment, lies about Chinna wanting him to rejoin the gang, which results in a heartbreaking sequence.

In a tragic twist, Shafi shoots and kills Shalini in a misunderstanding, prompting Sekar to kill Shafi in retaliation. Sekar races to meet Chinna and Saamy, only to be confronted with a shocking scene: Chinna, in a moment of mistaken resolve, shoots Sekar in a hail of gunfire. Sekar retaliates, fatally shooting Chinna, believing him to be an assassin sent to eliminate him. As the truth unfolds, Sekar is devastated to realize that Chinna had actually shot a policeman behind him, trying to protect Sekar from harm. This revelation leaves Sekar grief-stricken, as he mourns the loss of his friend and mentor.

In the chaos that follows, the police surround Sekar and the remaining gang members, intent on capturing them. Sekar, overwhelmed by sorrow and despair, chooses to end his life by drawing an empty gun and facing the gunfire from the police. As he is shot and falls, Sekar’s final moments are filled with memories of the bond he shared with Chinna, showcasing the tragic cost of violence and loyalty, leading to a heartbreaking conclusion.
