In the late 1980s, Michael Mammootty presides over one of Kochi’s wealthiest families, steering a vast business empire built by his late father Varkey. He steps into the family’s power after his eldest brother Paily’s death, while Mathai struggles to keep pace with a clan whose loyalties run as deep as the fortunes they command. The family tree is tall and tangled: Paily, Mathai, Michael, Simon, and Susan, each carrying history, secrets, and old feuds that color every calculated move.

Paily’s widow Fathima, Nadhiya, remarries Ali, son of Majeed, a trusted ally of Varkey, and together they raise two sons, Ajas Soubin Shahir and Ami Sreenath Bhasi. The brothers grow up under the shadow of Michael’s authority, their resentment tempered by fear of his reach, and their fate increasingly bound to the family’s fragile balance of power.

Mathai and his wife Molly Maala Parvathi have two sons, Peter Shine Tom Chacko and Paul Farhaan Faasil. Both boys harbor a deep mistrust for Michael, even as they depend on him to keep the family’s machinery running. The younger generation’s rivalries threaten to erupt at any moment, especially as Peter and Paul’s actions collide with Michael’s broader ambitions.

Simon Jinu Joseph, a priest, moves with a quiet conscience among his kin, while Susan Lenaa guards her own secrets and her relationship with a man marked by corruption, Martin, a Tamil police officer whose infidelities strain the ties of trust within the clan. Susan and her children—Rachel and Abel—navigate a precarious existence under Martin’s shadow, complicating the family’s already brittle dynamics.

The spark of crisis arrives at a birthday party for Peter’s son Pauly, when Elsa—a woman linked to a high-stakes tragedy—approaches Michael seeking vengeance against a powerful, caste-bound family. Michael’s right-hand man, Shivankutty Abu Salim, steps in to suppress the immediate danger, yet the deeper fissures threaten to tear the family apart. It becomes clear that, apart from Annamma Manohari Joy and Michael himself, nobody in the clan shows genuine loyalty to anyone else; Fathima and her sons, Ajas and Ami, are central to the unraveling.

Amid this volatility, Molly’s brother James, an MP, seeks Michael’s support to energize his political base, but Michael refuses to lend his weight to a system he believes has never served the public. This rebuff fuels a coalition of Peter, Paul, James, and Simon to challenge Michael’s dominance and topple the order that has kept the Kocheri and Kochi factions aligned for so long. James proposes summoning Iravippilla, head of the Kocheri family, a man who has long harbored a grudge against Michael for personal and familial killings, to bring back Rajan Madhavan Nair—known in Mumbai as Bada Rajan—as the agent of retribution.

As the romance between Rachel Anagha and Ami unfolds, Martin resists the wedding, while Michael vows to honor the family’s tradition of binding marriages even as the conflict around Paily and Ali’s deaths continues to simmer. Martin’s bitterness intensifies when it’s revealed that he has played a hand in past killings related to the Kocheris, and Shivankutty discloses more connections that tie Ali’s fate to the violence.

A brutal attack on Michael and his men, masterminded by Rajan’s operatives, leaves Shivankutty dead and Michael hospitalized. When he regains consciousness after three days, his resolve hardens: he will root out the traitors and reclaim control. Under Michael’s orders, Ajas eliminates Martin by driving a truck over him, and later hands James a file exposing his illegal activities, leading to James’s arrest. Ajas then turns his attention to Simon, convincing victims of Simon’s scandals to file complaints, resulting in Simon’s arrest.

In a climactic confrontation at a garage, Ajas kills Peter and issues a stark warning to Paul to leave Kochi. Rajan is executed on orders from Rajan’s mentee Chota Rajan, sealing a brutal tally of payback and loyalty tests that have defined the family’s saga. Michael and Ajas visit the Kocheri family to confirm Rajan’s death, and with the weight of the vendetta finally shifting, Michael passes on his position to Ajas, signaling a new, uncertain era for the sprawling family and the city they shaped.
