Walter Percival was born on May 2, 1887, and established himself as a versatile figure in American entertainment during the early twentieth century, making significant contributions to both theatrical and cinematic arts as an actor, producer, and writer. His career commenced on the Broadway stage, where he made his debut in A Venetian Romance in 1904, marking the beginning of a distinguished theatrical journey that would span over two decades. In 1909, he became associated with a theatrical company headed by Grace Van Studdiford, further cementing his reputation within New York's vibrant theater scene.
