Vicente Gil Ros, born on 5 January 1976 in Carpesa, Valencia, Spain, is a distinguished Spanish Paralympic swimmer who has competed in the S5 classification. His career spans more than a decade, beginning with his debut at the 2000 Sydney Paralympic Games where he first represented Spain on the international stage. Over the years, Gil has become renowned for his expertise in breaststroke events, particularly the SB3 50‑meter breaststroke, in which he earned silver medals at both the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Paralympics, showcasing remarkable consistency and determination.
