Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds 2021

Dogtanian, a spirited young swordsman, has dreams of joining the legendary Muskehounds, renowned protectors of France. His journey begins when he arrives in Paris, where he seeks an audience with Monsieur de Treville. Unfortunately, Treville tells him that, due to the wrongful accusations laid upon his father by Cardinal Richelieu, Dogtanian is deemed unfit to join their ranks.

As fate would have it, Dogtanian crosses paths with the three brave Muskehounds — Vicente Gil, Ana Esther Alborg, and Gabriel Jiménez — who challenge him to a duel. After a thrilling skirmish with Richelieu’s guards, the Muskehounds commend Dogtanian for his bravery, setting the stage for his determined quest.

One fateful evening, Dogtanian heroically rescues Juliette, a lady he had previously encountered, from the clutches of Richelieu’s guards. She reveals a nefarious plot: Richelieu plans to incite war between France and England to gain control over Europe. To avert this disaster, Queen Anne of Austria is preparing to send a letter to the King of England, accompanied by a valuable diamond necklace from King Louis XIII. Juliette cautions Dogtanian that if Richelieu gets his hands on the necklace, conflict is inevitable.

Recalling a conversation between Count Rochefort, Richelieu’s cunning spy, and Milady de Winter, Dogtanian realizes the gravity of the situation. The following day, in a bid to protect the necklace, Juliette warns the Muskehounds about the impending danger. That night, Dogtanian enters a palace to confront Milady and, despite his best efforts, she evades capture.

Learning that Milady is en route to Calais to board a ship, Dogtanian teams up with the Muskehounds, splitting up to catch her. Dogtanian arrives just in time at the harbor, but Milady is already setting sail. In a twist of fate, he encounters Captain Mixtolobo, a pirate captain, who joins him in pursuing Milady’s vessel. A fierce duel ensues on the ship, where Dogtanian battles Milady to reclaim the diamond necklace.

After recovering the necklace, Dogtanian reconciles with the Muskehounds, and they return to Paris together. In a climactic encounter at the palace, Dogtanian confronts Rochefort about his father’s framing, leading to the shocking revelation of his father’s innocence. Just then, Richelieu appears, attempting to eliminate Dogtanian with a gunshot. In a moment of sacrifice, his loyal friend Pip takes the bullet, leaving Dogtanian devastated. However, he soon discovers that Pip was saved by a gold coin in his pocket.

With Milady successfully delivering the necklace to Queen Anne, Dogtanian’s heroic deeds are recognized, culminating in his official induction into the ranks of the Muskehounds. As they celebrate this victory, Richelieu swears vengeance, promising that the story of Dogtanian and the Muskehounds is far from over.
