Pavail Gulati, born on 14 September 1987 in Ashok Vihar, Delhi, emerged from a modest middle‑class background to become a recognizable face in contemporary Hindi cinema and digital series. Both of his parents served as government employees—his father Kanwar Deepak Gulati at the State Bank of India and his mother Anju Gulati in the import‑export department—before they pivoted to documentary filmmaking, an unconventional shift that introduced young Pavil to the storytelling world. Growing up, he moved across various Delhi neighborhoods, eventually settling in Sarita Vihar, and attended Bluebells School International where he complemented his formal education with summer workshops at the National School of Drama and dance training under Shiamak Davar, experiences that honed his expressive instincts.
