Noel Thomas David Gallagher (born 29 May 1967) is a highly successful and influential English musician, singer, and songwriter. Known for his role as the primary songwriter and lead guitarist in the band Oasis, he later embarked on a solo career, forming Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. Gallagher is recognized as one of the pillars of the Britpop movement in the UK, and one of the country's greatest songwriting talents, penning eight UK number-one singles and numerous chart-topping albums.
