Miguel A. Núñez Jr. (born August 11, 1964) is a renowned American actor, best recognized for his stellar performances in 'The Return of the Living Dead' and 'Life'. He has also played leading roles in popular projects like 'Juwanna Mann' and 'Tour of Duty' and made his mark on the BET drama 'The Family Business' and 'Sparks'. Núñez was born in New York City, to an African American mother and a Dominican father. He was primarily raised by his grandparents in Wilson, North Carolina, which played a significant role in shaping his early life experiences and cultural influences. One of his major screen roles came early in his career, when he played the supporting role of Spider in 'The Return of the Living Dead'. His talent quickly paved the way for more prominent roles, and his first significant starring role came as Marcus Taylor in the series 'Tour of Duty', where he remained a main cast member for all three seasons of the show.
