Emerging from Edogawa‑ku in Tokyo, he entered the entertainment industry through Stardust Promotion and quickly gained attention with early film roles such as The Foreign Duck, the Native Duck and God in a Coin Locker (2007) and Tennen Kokekkō (2007).
