Lee Ann Remick, widely known as Lee Remick, was an acclaimed American actress and singer. Born on December 14, 1935, in Quincy, Massachusetts, Remick began her acting career in the early 1950s and remained active until 1990. She made her debut in the film industry in the 1957 classic, 'A Face in the Crowd'. Some of her notable film roles include 'Anatomy of a Murder' (1959), 'Wild River' (1960), and 'The Omen' (1976). Among her many accolades, Remick was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in 'Days of Wine and Roses' (1962), as well as a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for her performance in 'Wait Until Dark' (1966).

Remick, daughter of actress Gertrude Margaret (or Patricia based on different accounts) and department store owner Francis Edwin 'Frank' Remick, also earned seven Emmy Award nominations throughout her career. In 1974, she earned a Golden Globe Award for the TV film 'The Blue Knight' and another one for the miniseries 'Jennie: Lady Randolph Churchill.' In April 1991, shortly before her death, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Remick was known for her versatile acting skills, switching from Broadway to film, then television with ease and effectiveness. She worked with numerous renowned artists throughout her career, proving herself to be a talent to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.
