Julie Delpy is a distinguished French and American actress, screenwriter, and film director, born on 21 December 1969 in Paris, France. She studied filmmaking at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and has contributed to more than thirty impressive films. Some of her notable works include 'Europa Europa (1990)', 'Three Colours: White (1993)', the 'Before trilogy (1995, 2004, 2013)', 'An American Werewolf in Paris (1997)', and '2 Days in Paris (2007)'.

She has garnered nominations for three César Awards, two Online Film Critics Society Awards, and two Academy Awards due to her exceptional performance and remarkable talent. Following her move to the United States in 1990, she acquired US citizenship in 2001. Her indulgence towards the arts ignited at an early age, encouraged by her parents.
