Frank A. Langella Jr. is an American actor popular for his many roles on the stage and screen. Instead of going down the path of a traditional film star, Langella chose to make the stage his primary platform, performing consistently on Broadway. Throughout his illustrious career, Langella has received multiple accolades, including four Tony Awards, a Drama Desk Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. His talent has also recognized through various nominations for an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, an Emmy Award, and two Golden Globes.

Langella has won four Tony Awards for his outstanding performances in various play productions such as in Peter Morgan's Frost/Nixon and Florian Zeller's The Father as well as Edward Albee's Seascape and Ivan Turgenev's Fortune's Fool. His role as Richard Nixon in the film adaptation of Frost/Nixon, directed by Ron Howard, earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. Beyond these, some of Langella's notable roles include performances in 'Dracula (1979)', 'Masters of the Universe (1987)', 'Starting Out in the Evening (2007)', 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010)', 'Robot & Frank (2012)', and 'The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020)'. He also played Supreme Court Justice Warren Burger in the HBO movie Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight (2013) and had a recurring role in the FX series The Americans (2013–2017). Despite being fired from The Fall of the House of Usher in 2022 following sexual harassment allegations, Langella maintains a long and varied career in the film industry.
