Edith Käthe Elisabeth Schultze-Westrum (30 December 1904 – 20 March 1981) was a prolific German film actress whose career spanned nearly five decades, from the early sound era of German cinema to the late 1970s. Born in Mainz-Kastel, then part of the German Empire, she became one of the recognizable character actresses of post-war German film and television. Over the course of her remarkable career, she appeared in more than 60 films, establishing herself as a versatile performer capable of embodying a wide range of maternal, supporting, and authoritative figures. Her debut came in 1932 with the film Kiki, marking the beginning of a long-standing presence in the German entertainment industry that would carry her through the turbulent decades of World War II and into the post-war reconstruction of German cinema. She also delivered memorable appearances in Via Mala (1961), Escape from East Berlin (1962), and Die Brücke (1959), further cementing her reputation as a reliable and compelling character actress. In her later years, she transitioned smoothly into television, appearing in the long-running series Derrick between 1975 and 1976, as well as in the TV movie Haus der Frauen (1977).
