Edward John Speleers or Ed Speleers, an English actor, notable for various roles in television and film. His acting career began with his lead role in the 2006 film Eragon, a cinematic adaptation of Christopher Paolini's book. After playing Eragon, Ed appeared in various television series and films, notable roles include antagonistic character Stephen Bonnet in the popular Outlander TV series and Jimmy Kent in the critically acclaimed Downton Abbey. He also appeared as Rhys Montrose in the well-received fourth season of You and Jack Crusher in the third season of Star Trek: Picard. With a decorated acting career spanning over 15 years, Ed's contributions to the film industry have earned him critical acclaim.
