Denis Colin Leary, born August 18, 1957, has enjoyed a vibrant and diverse role in American stand-up comedy and acting. His career kicked off as a stand-up comedian, gaining fame through notable appearances on MTV and in stand-up specials such as 'No Cure for Cancer' (1993) and 'Lock 'n Load' (1997). His comedic range was further demonstrated through various film and television roles in the 1990s. Leary's career expanded in the 2000s when he both starred in and developed the television show 'The Job' (2001–2002).
