Kabir (Abhay Deol) has recently met Natasha (Kalki Koechlin), and their connection quickly blossoms into a serious relationship. Kabir is an architect working at his father’s construction company in Mumbai, while Natasha is an interior designer. After six months of dating, they become engaged, but Kabir desires a final celebration with his friends before settling down. He plans a three-week road trip with his best friends—Imran (Farhan Akhtar) and Arjun (Hrithik Roshan), two successful men from different backgrounds, who have been close since their school days.

Initially, Arjun is too busy with work to join, but after much persuasion and emotional blackmail, the trio sets out on the adventure they had postponed four years earlier. This trip holds a special promise: during their journey, each friend will choose an adventurous activity that they will undertake together, deepening their bond and adding excitement to the trip. Natasha’s friends, however, warn her to be cautious about the wild nature of these “boys’ trips,” and Natasha begins to suspect that there may be more going on behind the scenes.

The friends meet up in Barcelona, embarking on a route through Costa Brava, Seville, and Pamplona. Early on, tension surfaces as Imran takes Kabir aside to show him works of an artist named Salman Habib—an influential figure living in Spain. During their plans to visit Costa Brava, conflict arises when Arjun continues working on his phone while driving, prompting Imran to take drastic action by grabbing Arjun’s phone and tossing it out of the moving vehicle. This sparks a heated argument where Arjun accuses Imran of being unfaithful to his then-girlfriend, Sonali, four years earlier. Kabir intervenes, urging them to focus on their friendship rather than past grievances, as the original trip was interrupted by personal issues—most notably Sonali’s departure from Imran.

Meanwhile, Kabir’s gift of a luxurious bag for Natasha, costing 12,000 Euros, sparks jealousy and tension, especially as they navigate their close-knit group. The friends agree to try new activities, with Kabir signing them up for deep-sea diving despite Arjun’s fear of water. Laila (Katrina Kaif), a confident Anglo-Indian fashion student and diving instructor, especially shows concern for Arjun, who has yet to learn to swim.
