As the festive season draws near, James and Hayley, who have remained a couple since the events of the earlier movie, find themselves invited to a holiday retreat in the breathtaking Austrian Alps by their families—the Hugheses and the Taylors. However, trouble brews when Hayley’s father, ever the maverick, insists on seeking unconventional lodging, much to the dismay of James’s family.

Upon landing at the airport, the families’ shuttle services become hilariously intertwined, ultimately leaving the working-class Taylors at the lavish Hugheses’ resort, while the Hugheses themselves are accommodated in a modest hostel.
