What Is Writing Kung Fu About?

The premise of Writing Kung Fu without spoilers.

A timid teacher is tormented by his kung‑fu students and then abandoned. An odd man in a coolie hat arrives, posing as a tea‑and‑salt delegate, but he is the murderous Ah Yen, who slaughtered Red Clay Village and fights with a flute. After vague training the teacher learns a writing‑style kung fu and becomes the only one to face Ah Yen.
