What Is We Are the Champions About?
The premise of We Are the Champions without spoilers.
Divorced and without custody, former pro Torben focuses on his talented son David’s struggling junior soccer team. When the head coach quits, Torben steps in as interim coach, becoming a mentor and surrogate father to several players. Though he faces resistance from other parents, he reconnects with a single mother on the team, while the most unexpected reward comes from David’s surprising support.
