Uuno Turhapuro muuttaa maalle (1986): Cast & Plot

Uuno Turhapuro [Vesa-Matti Loiri] finds himself in the middle of yet another family upheaval when his father-in-law, Councillor Tuura [Tapio Hämäläinen], decides to移 relocate to the countryside with his wife and Elisabeth, without telling Uuno. In a bid to salvage his own marriage, Uuno schemes to spend a week away from home, hoping a little distance will help, but he returns bearing flowers only to discover that his wife Elisabeth Turhapuro [Marjatta Raita] has already moved out. A note left in the refrigerator—written by Tuura—makes Uuno realize that the rift within the family runs deeper than he thought, and the stage is set for a comedy of misunderstandings that will pull him into a new country life.
