The cinematic journey commences with a poignant portrayal of how African-American cultural influence began to wane in the 1980s. As a powerful force known only as "The Man" relentlessly seeks to undermine minority cultures, originality and style become increasingly marginalized in the public eye. The catalyst for this downfall is revealed to be Gen. Warren Boutwell (Colin Powell), a United States Army general who's considering throwing his hat into the presidential ring. The Man, however, won't stand idly by as a prominent African-American leader challenges his authority. Utilizing a mind-controlling substance, he orchestrates a sinister plot to sabotage Boutwell's political aspirations and redirect his focus towards a more mundane pursuit: opening a fried chicken franchise.

As tensions escalate, a secret organization known as B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D. deduces The Man's involvement in Boutwell's sudden change of heart and recruits the services of Undercover Brother, a cunning freelance operative. This enigmatic figure joins forces with the Chief, Conspiracy Brother, Smart Brother, Sistah Girl, and Lance, an intern who's the only white member of the organization, having been brought on board through affirmative action.

Undercover Brother goes undercover as a new employee at a cigarette company owned by The Man, where he's discovered by none other than Mr. Feather, The Man's trusted lieutenant. To counter this threat, Undercover Brother deploys his secret weapon: White She-Devil, an alluring assassin with the power to render him powerless. Posing as another new employee, she and Undercover Brother begin a charade of romance, with her expertly manipulating him into embracing a series of stereotypical "white" behaviors, including donning corduroy and khaki attire, crooning karaoke tunes, and adopting an array of laughable euphemisms.

Meanwhile, The Man's insidious plan to distribute his mind-controlling substance through Boutwell's fried chicken franchise takes shape. As the drug infects other prominent African-American celebrities, they're compelled to adopt a more white persona, while The Man markets the chicken nationwide in a ruthless bid to decimate African-American cultural influence and assert his dominance over minority communities.

As Undercover Brother's behavior becomes increasingly enigmatic, Sistah Girl takes matters into her own hands, launching a fierce counterattack against White She-Devil and convincing Undercover Brother to rejoin the fight. In a shocking turn of events, White She-Devil reveals she has fallen deeply in love with Undercover Brother, and together they return to the B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D.'s headquarters. There, Smart Brother subjects White She-Devil to a grueling interrogation about The Man's true intentions, while Lance is officially welcomed into the fold after declaring his commitment to eradicating bigotry following a poignant viewing of Roots.

With their sights set on James Brown, the group discovers that he has been targeted by The Man and decides to attend an awards gala to uncover more information. However, Mr. Feather kidnaps Brown and whisks him away to The Man's secret lair, prompting B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D. to track them down via a transmitter embedded in Brown's clothing. Disguising themselves as a cleaning crew, the group infiltrates the lair and rescues both Brown and Boutwell, securing an antidote for the mind control drug that has been used against them.

As Mr. Feather prepares to administer the drug to Brown, who is revealed to be Undercover Brother in disguise, the stage is set for a thrilling showdown. B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D. springs into action, rescuing Boutwell and sending their own team of operatives after Mr. Feather's henchmen. In the ensuing chaos, Conspiracy Brother inadvertently triggers the building's self-destruct sequence, prompting the group to evacuate Boutwell while Undercover Brother gives chase to Mr. Feather.

The Man, however, remains one step ahead, abandoning Mr. Feather for his failures and departing in a helicopter that leaves the fallen operative to face a gruesome fate. As Mr. Feather jumps onto the landing gear, desperate to escape, he is met with a gruesome end at the hands of Undercover Brother's trusty afro picks, which impale him in the buttocks. The hapless henchman plummets into the ocean below, where he becomes a shark's next meal.

Meanwhile, The Man escapes, leaving Undercover Brother to face the consequences of his actions. In a daring leap, Undercover Brother avoids the building's destruction and deploys his modified parachute pants to make a safe descent. As the dust settles, Undercover Brother shares a romantic moment with Sistah Girl before departing the island, leaving behind a world finally at peace.
