Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters the Movie: Protect the Tokyo Enetower! 2012

On the maiden voyage of the FS-0O, Ryuji Iwasaki and Yoko Usami join their Buddyroids, Hiromu Sakurada and Cheeda Nick, along with Ene-tan, for a bold test of a brand-new original Buster Machine. The crew heads into a tense mission as an Enetron disruption in the Akeisho District near the Tokyo Enetawā sets off a chain of events that pulls the team toward a strange threat. Steamloid looms on the horizon as the group moves through the city, forcing everyone to stay focused under pressure.

As the Go-Busters confront the crisis, the Buddyroids work to shield civilians while the human team battles to keep the street clear. Steamloid releases a pervasive steam that corrodes the Buddyroids’ bodies, testing the team’s resilience and forcing them to reassess how they can hold the line when their own machines begin to fail. The defenders realize that this enemy possesses a troubling ability that helps explain why larger, more powerful Megazord formations haven’t been deployed yet, and they start to piece together how the Enetron energy from Tokyo Enetawā might be enabling or hindering the perceived limits of their tech.

The plot thickens when Masato Jin arrives to lead the charge and points the Go-Busters toward a critical component atop Tokyo Enetower. This item could teleport the surrounding area into Hyper Space to empower Enetron Tanks once fully powered. The moment is urgent: Beet J. Stag falls victim to Steamloid’s relentless steam, leaving the team temporarily scattered and in need of a swift salvage operation. Ene-tan steps up to offer crucial aid, guiding the Go-Busters toward Tokyo Enetower so they can confront the Metaloid at its source and shut down its steam-weaponry before it can spread further.

Enter the odds and the clock with a stark warning: their current tactics seem almost futile against the Buglers’ wave. In a pivotal move, Blue Buster pushes the limits of his system’s heat tolerance to create an opening, allowing Red Buster and Yellow Buster to push through the frontline and confront Steamloid directly. The battle is fierce, with Red Buster trading blows while the team discovers weak points that could tip the balance in their favor. Just when the situation looks dire, the FS-0O arrives to ferry the Go-Busters to safety, giving them a chance to regroup and recover their strength.

With the team healing and the steam haze thinning, the Go-Busters learn that Enter is orchestrating a far larger plan: he’s amassing Enetron to deploy four Megazord archetypes—and a mysterious fifth model—against them. Time grows tight, with only minutes left before the onslaught fully materializes. The Go-Busters rally, destroy Steamloid’s core, and scramble to mount their Buster Machines just as the Vaglass Megazords begin their ascent. A dramatic sequence unfolds as GT-02 Gorilla and RH-03 attempt to seize the tower, while Go-Buster Ace soars to strike from above. The battle intensifies as Megazord Type Epsilon engages Gamma, and the Go-Buster team coordinates to counter each threat.

In a decisive climax, Go-Buster Ace and GT-02 are redirected by the combined effort of the FS-0O and Go-Buster Kero-Oh, and they manage to bring down Epsilon while the other Busters dismantle the Vaglass Megazords. The teleportation device is destroyed just as the timer expires, and the Enetron-powered tower suffers damage in the process. Enter retreats toward shore, vowing revenge, but the Go-Busters and their loyal Buddyroids manage to pull through the crisis. With Tokyo Enetower secured and the immediate danger passed, the squad takes a moment to reflect on their hard-won victory and the strange cityscape around them, ending the day with a lighthearted note as they take in the sights of Tokyo Enetower.
