In Santiago, Chile, a portrait of life follows a cluster of lower-middle-class, thirtysomething residents as they navigate the everyday grind and quiet hopes that keep them moving through the city. Tito, who has moved to the capital in search of a better life, works as a car salesman, but the constant scrutiny from his boss weighs heavily on him, a tension voiced by Rudy in every exchange.

One weekend, when he is meant to deliver paperwork to close a deal, Tito reconnects with his sister Amanda and a stranger named Lucho. Over a drunken dinner, the group engages in a wide-ranging conversation about utopian visions and the kinds of lives they might lead, meeting a string of colorful characters along the way.
