C.K. Diwakar, an IRS officer in the NCB, and his deputy Mani steal a narcotics shipment, but the operation goes wrong and Diwakar is stabbed in the process. In retaliation, Vittal Rao, a ruthless drug lord, kidnaps Vasu, Diwakar’s son, and makes a chilling demand: he will release Vasu only if Diwakar returns the bag of cocaine he had taken earlier. With no other option, Diwakar agrees and heads to Vittal’s nightclub carrying the bag, where Vasu is kept as a hostage.
There, Diwakar’s move to stash the cocaine bag in the men’s toilet does not go unnoticed. Mallika, an NCB agent, becomes suspicious of the operation and informs her superior Dhiraviyam. Dhiraviyam begins to close in, seizing the bag of cocaine from the toilet as the chase tightens around Diwakar. Realizing the bag has vanished, Diwakar pivots with a risky plan: he intends to hand Vittal a bag filled with packets of milk powder instead, hoping his cronies, including the feared Pedha Babu, will not notice the switch of contents.
Tragically, Vittal and Pedha soon uncover the ruse and move to eliminate Diwakar. The situation worsens as Diwakar’s wound bleeds more severely, leaving him caught between Vittal’s men on one side and Mallika and Dhiraviyam on the other. In a tense confrontation, Diwakar reveals that he has been working undercover all along, and that his mission was to expose corrupt cops like Dhiraviyam and Mani, who are implicated in drug smuggling.
With the truth finally coming to light, Diwakar manages to rescue Vasu without Vittal’s knowledge, and Vittal is taken into custody by Mallika and Dhiraviyam. During the ride to prison, Mallika discovers Mani’s mobile phone and reads the messages, realizing that Diwakar’s claims were true all along and that Dhiraviyam and Mani have been involved in drug smuggling and attempted to frame Diwakar.
Dhiraviyam resists arrest, and in a final act of violence, Vittal is killed in the process, but the officer is eventually brought to justice. The immediate danger has passed, though Diwakar’s wounds leave him unconscious long enough for Vasu to rush him to the hospital, where he begins to recover. Three months later, Mallika has become Diwakar’s deputy, and the two work together to thwart an attempted murder of a fellow police officer, continuing their fight against crime and corruption.
