What Is The Rebels About?

The sequel to The Bastard picks up Philip Kent’s story—an illegitimate son of an English noble who has abandoned his aristocratic claim to serve as a Continental soldier in the fight for American independence. He allies with a Southern aristocrat and his down‑to‑earth companion, together working to foil a conspiracy to assassinate George Washington. (Episodes 3–4 of the Kent Chronicles miniseries.)
