What Is The Fall About?
The premise of The Fall without spoilers.
After a fatal construction‑site accident, a worker seeks justice, exposing exploitation and class tension in Brazil after a decade of rapid conservative modernization under military rule. As a sequel to The Guns (1964), it follows former enforcers turned victims, blending fiction and reality to portray a pivotal era of Brazilian history and evolving cinema. It won the Silver Bear in Berlin.
