What Is The Couples About?

Three separate stories examine how far people will go for desire and survival. In “The Refrigerator,” a poor immigrant couple blow their savings on a must‑have fridge and, desperate, turn to prostitution. “The Room” shows a ten‑year‑marriage celebration in a luxury Sardinian resort that spirals into crime and prison. “The Lion” traps adulterous lovers Antonio and Giulia with a lion at the place they met, forcing them to face their true nature.
