What Is The Confession About?
The premise of The Confession without spoilers.
It survives in the documentary Parajanov: The Last Spring (1992). The 1990 film stayed unfinished after Sergei Parajanov’s death. Written in the 1960s, it was his memoir of childhood, studies, marriage, imprisonment and other experiences. Parajanov gave the script to Mikhail Vartanov, wrote that a director born in 1924 in Tiflis, Georgia could make it.
