What Is The Water Magician About?

Taki no Shiraito, an independent performer known for her water‑juggling act with a traveling carnival, meets carriage driver Kinya Murakoshi. She falls in love and vows to fund his law studies in Tokyo, enclosing money in each letter she sends. When winter forces the troupe to cancel shows and leaves her without work, her ability to support him is jeopardized, testing their love and her resolve.
