A low‑budget industrial short produced for Eastman Kodak, starring Buster Keaton as Lester Snapwell. Set in the late 1860s, Snapwell wrestles with a cumbersome early camera while trying to photograph his beloved Clementine and her mother. After a fatal accident, Father Time thrusts him forward through successive eras, each bringing newer photographic equipment that confounds him. By the 1960s he finally discovers the Kodak Instamatic, ending his struggles.
