The Tragic Fantasy: Tiger of Wanchai 1994

Chan Yiu-Hing is a skilled driver who works as a car jockey, moving fast with a tight-knit crew—Hung, Chung, and Dee—as they navigate Wan Chai’s streets with bold confidence and sharp reflexes.

Dee, a compulsive gambler, runs up a massive debt to Lam Kwok-Yeung, a feared triad leader, and ends up badly beaten. To repay the debt, Hing and his friends stage a risky theft: they steal Lam’s car, sparking a fierce rivalry that shadows their every move and tests their loyalty.

On the personal front, Hing becomes obsessed with a woman named Miu Marianne Chan, and when they reconnect, they begin a romance that gives Hing a new sense of hope. At the same time, Hung finds love as well, forming a bond with Miu’s friend Fanny Charine Chan Ka-Ling, which adds a fresh layer of tension to the group.
