Rose Rose I Love You 1993

Thief Micky was arrested by police detectives Keith Lui Tony Leung Ka Fai and Leung Sing-po Simon Yam while attempting to steal a priceless diamond called Star of Malaysia. However, when this gem goes missing, Micky frames Black Rose for stealing it, triggering a public uproar and setting off a tense chase through the city’s shadows.

One night, Micky escapes from prison as Keith Lui and Leung Sing-po are ordered to bring him back to justice. The two detectives hatch an intricate plan to get close to Micky’s ex-lover, Pearl Chan Carina Lau, hoping to search for clues. Meanwhile, Black Rose disguises herself as a civilian under the alias Beauty and slips into Keith’s life to clear her name, a ruse that brings fresh headaches to the steadfast investigator. As the plot thickens, Micky moves to retrieve the key to the Star of Malaysia from Pearl, who turns out to be the incarnation of White Rose, Black Rose’s rival. Pearl has been diligently investigating the gem’s whereabouts, but the key is cleverly hidden in a necklace she routinely wears, and Micky manages to seize it. Yet Micky’s girlfriend Lulu Charine Chan Ka-Ling reveals herself to be White Rose’s follower, trapping Micky into surrendering the key.

With the key in jeopardy, Black Rose learns of the betrayal and makes her move to reclaim it and prove her innocence. In the meantime, Keith and Sing-po begin to see the true identities of their respective love interests—Beauty and Pearl—adding emotional complexity to the perilous mission. As the deadline closes in, Micky escalates the confrontation by tying a bomb around himself and threatening to kill everyone unless the key is forcefully recovered, turning a high-stakes chase into a deadly standoff where loyalties, love, and deception collide.
