What Is The Story of King Midas About?
The premise of The Story of King Midas without spoilers.
This short follows the greedy King Midas, who is granted the power to turn anything he touches into gold by a visitor. The gift turns tragic when his food and his daughter become gold, forcing him to renounce the curse. The visitor returns, letting Midas regain his humanity, which he accepts. The film was preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2004.
