Cinderella, daughter of a widowed duke who remarries, finds herself serving a harsh stepmother and spoiled stepsisters while the duke is abroad. Despite the toil, she stays kind to her family, animal friends, and a mysterious boy named Charles linked to the Emerald Castle prince. When barred from the Royal Ball, she receives aid from her Fairy Godmother and the endearing mice Gus and Jaq.
