Maria da Luz anxiously awaits her husband, missing somewhere in Angola during wartime. Surrounded by families similarly yearning for news of their loved ones fighting abroad, she takes action. She begins recording heartfelt messages from mothers, wives, and relatives, creating a collection of personal greetings. Carrying these tapes, Maria undertakes a journey to Angola to deliver them directly to the soldiers, a deeply personal quest amidst the ongoing conflict.
