In Primrose, Arizona, a wave of outlaws forces the townspeople to appoint Fletcher Bissell III—known as the Silver Dollar Kid—as sheriff. So timid that they hope the bandits will spare him, Fletcher soon discovers the outlaws recruit their own cowardly gunfighter, Chicken Farnsworth, to match him. The story was written by Jim Beaver.
