What Is The Sewers of Paradise About?
The premise of The Sewers of Paradise without spoilers.
In July 1976, thieves tunneled through Paris’s sewers to breach the vault of Société Générale, in France, stealing over $10 million. Dubbed the “Great Drain Robbery,” the heist inspired a book by mastermind Albert Spaggiari, which the film adapts. The romanticized cinematic version dramatizes the true events, with Francis Huster playing Spaggiari.
