Reporter Kirioka, played by Koji Tsuruta, teams up with his childhood friend Detective Kobayashi, played by Akihiko Hirata, and the police led by Captain Onosaki, played by Yoshio Tsuchiya, as a brutal stabbing at an amusement park sets off a tense investigation. The crime scene at the Cave of Horrors yields a gold-plated dog tag, a note inviting the victim to meet there, and a fragment of Cryotron transistor wire, all clues that point away from a random killing and toward a calculated, planned conspiracy. As the trio pieces together these strands, they trace connections to a Military-Land Cabaret and its wary owner, Onishi, a man who seems to know more than he should about the dead man and the shadowy activities surrounding him.
