The premise of The Old Fairy Tale: When the Sun Was God without spoilers.
In 9th‑century Europe, as Poland begins to emerge, the ruthless Prince Popiel murders his cousins to secure his son’s succession. His tyranny sparks a rebellion led by Piotun, former commander of his army, and the hunter‑warrior Ziemowit. Amid the conflict Ziemowit falls for Dziwa, a beautiful girl destined to become a temple priestess.
