The Music Lovers 1971
Composer, conductor and teacher Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky is torn between his artistic genius and his repressed homosexual desires. Seeking stability he marries the flamboyant, promiscuous Nina, hoping to fulfill his longing for sensual connection, but finds himself unable to satisfy her, paying a heavy emotional price for his choices.
