Three years after her lover Rick Usher and his twin sister Maddy vanished, Jill Masters learns Maddy has died and is asked to attend the funeral. Returning to the remote New England Usher estate, Jill discovers Rick shares the rare nerve disorder that stole Maddy’s mind, leaving him hypersensitive. Jill Masters, Izabella Miko, has not seen or heard from her ex-lover, Roderick “Rick” Usher, Austin Nichols, or her best friend Madeline “Maddy” Usher for three years. One night, Rick contacts Jill and informs her of Maddy’s sudden death. Her last wish was for Jill to attend the funeral. Conflicted, Jill returns to the Usher family home, where old memories and unresolved feelings rise to the surface. Her ** rekindled romance** with Rick deepens as she learns he suffers from the same rare nerve condition that robbed Maddy of her sharp mind before taking her life.
